My wife and I were at Bonna Point Reserve at Kurnell (southern edge of Sydney, on the shores of Botany Bay) today and we saw a dozen tattlers. Armed as we now are with a telescope we looked at them for a long time and would love some other person to have a look. The length of the supercilium and the tones on the head have us convinced we were looking at Wandering Tattlers and not the more regular Grey-Tailed Tattler. However I would like a confirmation. The birds were roosting at high tide on the rocky breakwater near the car park at the end of car access.
