There have been two records of sea-eagles in 3 days:

- one fishing off Sandringham on Sunday at 1000 (at the same
time as 100+ white-throated needletails were around in a
clear blue sky and apparently feeding at all levels from
roof-top to out of sight - also seen in Hampton)

- one (transitional plumage?) today (Tuesday) feeding in
flight over or near the eastern section of the Royal
Melbourne Golf Course

The most recent record of the Grey-tailed Tattler was on 7/1
when it was on the rock walls around the Beaumaris Motor
Yacht Squadron leased area with a Common Sandpiper also on a
rock wall about 100m north. The latter was in this area on
9/1.
