Drought kills duck season By ASHLEY GARDINE 08jan03THIS year's duck season has been cancelled because of the drought, Acting Premier John Thwaites said yesterday. Birdlife experts said the ban would protect Australia's drought-depleted duck population, but shooters complained they were not consulted. Hunters who defy the bans face fines of up to $20,000 as well as the loss of their shooting licence and firearms?. http://www.heraldsun.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5478,5809959%255E662,00.htm _________________________________________________________________MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
