While everyone is asking "why is it so" type questions, can I throw in a couple that are puzzling me 1. Varied Triller - what is so "varied" about it? - all the standard field guides show no variation in plumage (except male/female/juvenile and that holds for many species) 2. Richard's Pipit - Who was Richard?
