A US visitor has asked me about the identity of the spirit-bird in Rabbit-proof Fence, but I haven't seen the film (although everyone tells me I should!). One on-line write-up refers to a black & white bird, another says it was hovering! Birding-aus must be the best bet for a definitive answer. Could anyone please tell me what bird appeared on-screen as someone's spirit-bird? Thanks Bill Jolly "Abberton", Lockyer Valley, Queensland.
