Today near a sandbank,400 metres east of the Lake Samsonvale Cementery,
north of Brisbane, 3 Pink-eared Duck were with a large flock of Glossy
Ibis and Grey Teal.Rare on this Lake. A Spotted Harrier was harrassing
the waders on the sandbank.
Opposite the entrance gate to Gold Scrub a Frogmouth Owl is nesting in
the car park wattles.
