Indigenous Plants of the Sandbelt is a gorgeous new book on the native plants of the area from the Yarra to Frankston in SE Melbourne. Basically a gardening guide, it illustrates 180 plants available from regional nurseries. But it also has a lot of background including stuff on wildlife gardening, revegetation, fauna extinctions in the region..... Retails at $25. Let me know if you would like to see or get a copy. Michael Norris PS I think this is on-topic, at least in my region, and have no financial interest in the book.
