THE DANUBE DELTA BIOSPHERE RESERVE IS UNDER SERIOUS THREAT

Elements of the Ukrainian regime, including the Republic's
President, are suspected to be planning a grave degradation of the
UNESCO biosphere reserve through the construction of a Danube -
Black Sea canal link through sensitive areas of this wetland of
special importance. Ukrainian conservationists have called for
urgent international support to prevent this plan being carried out
by presidential decree.

You will find more background and a chance to add your support at

Thank you,

David
