Hi Birders,

Murray Lord said today " if I had found it (the Canada Goose) myself I would have assumed it was a feral, and probably not told anyone or given the bird a second thought". The problem is that this bird is a feral. It has either escaped from a waterfowl private collection in Australia or it is part of the feral population of New Zealand. Either way it is feral and is not wanted in Australia. The Wildlife Authorities in NSW should remove it before we have an unwanted feral population in Australia.
