G'day all Martin O'Brien just posted some info re release of 'game' birds on Tasmanian and Victorian farms for hunters. I'm amazed that any state or federal government agency would condone, and even encourage, the release of foreign organisms in this day and age. Does Birds Australia have a policy on this? It's like playing russian roulette with the environment.
