Hi All,
Well the 'thon is almost upon us and the Cooney's have named
their team - the Quacking Froglets - and are limbering up for the big
event. The weather will be shocking and the route looks likely to remain
untested until the day, but there are high expectations on Georgie's first
attempt at the big race.
A big thanks to the generous people who have agreed to sponsor
the team (I have about $140 pledged so far) and the people on Twitchathon
Committee (Susan, Stuart and Tim) for organising a great event.
If you still haven't sponsored someone or formed a team and
you want to help with bird conservation there is still time to get involved in a
