About 250 White-browed Woodswallows arrived at Nethercote, between Merimbula and Eden, NSW Far South Coast, this morning at 7.15 a.m. Last seen here in 1994. The arrival was announced by the noise and they appeared over the hill like a swarm of bees. They are feeding and resting in the paddocks and along fencelines. I walked amongst them, identified only one Masked Woodswallow - at this stage - but will keep looking.
