Right you are Peter. As the bronze-medal winner I must say it is interesting
that no-one has so far mentioned the real spams that one must endure as the
result of participating in a public newsgroup like BOz. The depressing thing is
that the purveyors of insurance, pervert sites and Nigerian bank scams keep
changing their email addresses, so the spams keep coming through the net.
On the birding front, I had the pleasure of seeing [what I presumed to be] an
immature mangrove bittern flying down the Brisbane River at lunch time today.
[I had no knockerlockers but the bird had a hunched flying posture, was fairly
dark and I could make out a hint of a yellow bill]. Presumably it was mangrove
hopping from the botanical gardens to roo point.
