Western Gerygone

I saw a Western Gerygone in the Great Dividing Range, between Sofala and
Ilford, at a site at about 1000m altitude.  I could hear another one
singing away in a nearby tree.  would this be an unusual sighting for
this species?  Also heard 2 powerful owls calling there at night.
