I saw a Western Gerygone in the Great Dividing Range, between Sofala and Ilford, at a site at about 1000m altitude. I could hear another one singing away in a nearby tree. would this be an unusual sighting for this species? Also heard 2 powerful owls calling there at night. rgds, Chris Ross Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
