Hi all Following are a few interesting observations summarised from the NT Birding Chatline this week: Pine Creek (c. 90km north of Katherine):- Yellow-rumped Mannikin (1of 6 finch species together) Black Falcon Spotted Harrier Hooded Parrots (15) Chestnut-backed Button-quail Knuckeys Lagoon (outer Darwin):- Broad-billed Sandpiper Red-necked Avocet (3) Yellow Wagtail (first report for season, 5 Oct) Intermediate Egret eating a snake Middle Point (near Fogg dam):- Black-breasted Buzzard Rufous Songlark (6+) Fogg Dam:- Baillons Crake Happy Birding Niven Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
