I didn't like to boast when all the "bags" of birds were being discussed last
week - but now that Alan has raised this issue of the perfect 3, I must put my
bit in.

My best effort was to get 3 lifers in the ONE VIEWFINDER! Sadly, the scope
didn't belong to me, and I admit to more than a little help in finding the
birds as well. For the record, the birds were:
Asian Fairy-Bluebird [Irena puella]
Thick-Billed Pigeon [Treron curvirostra]
Blue-Throated Bee-eater [Merops viridis]

Any of these is a stunning bird by itself, but to score all three in a single
scope view was the stuff dreams are made of. The scope belonged to Lau Won
Soon who was kindly showing me around The Simes Rd / Water Catchment forest in
Singapore.
