Dear birders Walking home at 9.30 am this morning from King Street, Newtown (Sydney) down a back lane, heard and then found an adult and 3 immature Figbirds testing the still unripe fruit in a large mulberry overhanging the lane (some fruit at the top was starting to colour up). Only one bird had the red eyepatch - the others were decidedly immatures with one being very vocal and pestering the adult. Off to Barren Grounds this weekend - great spot for spring birds and flowers. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
