G'day All and  Marlene,

I was hand feeding two Dusky Woodswallows, this early am, much to the chagrin of her on my shoulder, friendly little fella's eh? although a little bit flighty .... perhaps Eggy scared then a bit? totally agree re: sending down Noah's subsistence. Perhaps "Huey" heard about the 28 per cent flow expected in the "Snowy River" ????

Which leads me to ask is it superstition that we once had a quail called the "Snowy Quail" lived close to the Snowy river? back in the mid 1800's?? so named due to it's coloring? I'm doing some music research ...

Have there been any other reports for Melbourne?. Allan Morris mentioned some in his Lincoln NP (SA) report.

Happy birding al
