Richard

Inverleigh Common is known these days as the Inverleigh Flora & Fauna Reserve.
It's between the
towns of Inverleigh and Teesdale, about 35km west of Geelong in Victoria. It's
about 1,000
hectares in size - mostly River Red Gum and Manna Gum grassy woodland.

For a run down on things disappearing, you could read my recent paper on
Inverleigh Common:

Conole, L.E. (2002). Local extinction and decline of birds in a woodland
remnant at Inverleigh,
Victoria. Corella 26(2): 41-46.

Cheers, Lawrie
