Hi Everyone,

I just had a call from Warren Russell, the Site Manager of Pacific Harbour,
where we built the artificial wader roost, to say that he was watching about
a hundred Eastern Curlew on the roost as he spoke. You have to understand
that three years of my life has gone into this roost, and I came off the
phone with tears of joy in my eyes.

Warren did three counts without binos, and got 92, 98 and 104, so I guess a
hundred will do.

Cheers,

Jill
