I wonder how long it's been since an imm. pied butcherbird has been seen on the Mornington Penninsula? ( Cracticus nigrogularis ) what a truly gorgeous flute like song ..... and such shy antics. I woke up this am with eight species within four metres of my front door .... what a beautiful choir.
