I am planning a 2-3 day trip to the Griffith-Lake Cargelligo area in early
October. Unfortunately I cant access the birding-aus archive from my work.
I havent visited this area before and would appreciate any information
anyone could give me on reliable sites (how to get there, directions,
species present) etc.
I have listed all my 35 target species below but realise it is unrealistic
to expect to see most of them (any of the mallee specialities would do).
Can anyone tell me what conditions are like in the area (very dry i guess)?
I plan to visit Binya SF, Round Hill NR, Cocoparra NP, Pulletop NR,
Taleeban Mining Reserve (any access issues I should be aware of?) and the
Griffith-Leeton swamps.
Please reply to me privately.
