Birdline Victoria Update No. 89 For the week ending: 2 September, 2002
Quite a few people have visited the location of the sightings of the
Letter-winged Kites, including myself, but have failed to locate them. Not
to worry, however, as the last time they were seen in some numbers in Victoria,
January 1977 during a mouse plague, they stayed around for five months, so
perhaps we will see a lot more of them in the coming months.
