Hi all

Just back from a flying visit to Queensland for the weekend. Squeezed a bit of birding in between visits to relatives. I will post a more detailed report later but was delighted to find an Adult Kelp Gull at Woody Point on the Redcliffe Peninsula and thought this was unusually far North for them ? A local may be able to let me know ? Bob Inglis if you are out there ?  The bird was roosting at high tide on Saturday afternoon at the end of the road just left of the long jetty, along with Silver Gulls, Crested Terns , Ruddy Turnstones and 17 Pied Oyster Catchers.

Cheers
