I have just got back inside after watching this Channel-billed Cuckoo from our backyard (in sunny western Sydney) trying to parasitise? a nest. As usual, the Pied Currawongs, Magpies and Noisy Miners are giving it a hard time. However, this individual (maybe the same one I watched frequently last season in the park opposite our place) sneaks in without being so noisy like the others do. I normally see them in groups of threes or fours and at times 6.

We still haven't yet seen our usual Koels as they sometimes arrive as late as mid. Oct.
