g'Day All
On Friday 23 August, rafts of Fluttering Shearwaters totalling more than 100 birds were swimming about 500 metres north west of the northern breakwater at Adelaide's Outer Harbour. Others were wheeling about the area when the sea breeze sprang up after 2.00 pm.. Best seen from a boat, these birds would be easily seen from the western tip of the southern breakwater accessible via a walking track. Regards Ian May 0409 474575 |
