We all thought that the Swift Parrots had finally finished their Queensland holiday and were heading home to avoid the warmer weather. The last birds sighted on the Gold Coast were on the 10th August. That was until today. I just received a telephone call to let me know that at least four birds were seen at Ward Park in Southport at 10 am this morning. Even the Swift Parrots think the weather is perfect up here at the moment.
