Hi all I saw a single Little Curlew in Darwin this afternoon, a particularly unusual event for the time of year. My earliest previous record is the second week of September. I haven't seen evidence of many other waders having arrived yet, though Common Sandpipers have been increasing for a few weeks. Torresian Imperial Pigeons are already in big numbers with one bird reported sitting on a nest for at least the last 5 days.
