Dear Melbourne-based Birding-aussers I have birding friends from the UK staying with me at the moment who would love to clap their (binoculared) eyes on something as imposing, and infrequently seen, as a Powerful Owl. If anyone sees either of the POs recently reported from the Botanic Gardens or the Yarra (?? the same bird) over this weekend I would be very grateful for a phone call on my mobile (see number below) with a few key bits of information. Many thanks. Richard Nowotny ********************** |
