Try Binocular and Telescope Service Centre, 2nd Level, 119 Burgundy St.,
Heidelberg. You have to enter from the car park at the rear of the
building.
I bought a pair of Zeiss Jenas there a while ago (old but nice), and they
serviced my Vixen Ultima 8x56 bins - very good work with minimum sales or
fuss.
Their website is http://www.gsat.edu.au/~users/batsc/

(PS I've got no financial interest their either!)

Subject: telescope repair
Hi all,
I've just inherited an old telescope from my father (while he gads around
with a nice shiny new one), and one of the prisms seems to have separated
slightly, causing visible glue/bubble marks on its surface. Does anyone
have any recommendations of a good repair shop to take it to in Melbourne?
Thanks, Mike
