Last Saturday morning (August 3rd)while birding in the Little Desert near to
Horseshoe Bend just west of Dimboola there was a lot of activity but best of
all was a group of about 10 swift parrots, fussing around and coming in and
out of the tall eucalypts. Further to the west and south of Kiata we also
saw a few white-fronted honeyeaters. On the Dimboola to Minyip road was a
banded lapwing.
