Thanks Mike for being discrete about the sick list but for the record, I , John Harris was the One sick person.  But hey, I had a great time in between and with 7 and possibly 9 ticks (new Albatross taxonomy!?!) and 3 rolls of film later, it was well worth the sore neck and dry throat.

It was fabulous to see the Cape Petrel as it has been pelagic species that I have longed to see and not just because it is black and white - a pelagic magpie!!!

It was also good to travel with Peter, Tim and Euan and for their assistance in finding me my other tick for the weekend, a Rufous Bristlebird at Loch Ard Gorge.  It was good to see one in its natural habitat before returning to the carpark to see them being fed cake by tourists. A guaranteed bird to coin the phrase of a well traveled "Big Twitcher".

Thanks for your organisation Mike
