Hi All, Back in February when the terns were at peak passage, we did a short segment about the Caloundra sandbanks for a channel 10 afternoon kid's programme, called Totally Wild. I have been advised that it is to go to air this coming Monday (Aug 5) afternoon at 4pm, and the segment is entitled Tern Survey. It is very light stuff for kids, but it will show the habitat where we get these big flocks of terns, and hopefully, some of the flocks. I understand that the programme is national, but if you want to see it, I suggest you check first in your local programme guide for timing. cheers, Jill -- Jill Dening Sunshine Coast, Qld 26º 51' 152º 56' Ph (07) 5494 0994 Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
