Not sure about contact details for the Queensland fauna database - though I
believe it is called Wildnet. Anyway, the BA Atlas IS continuing and
welcomes bird records from all Australian territorial waters (up to 200
nautical miles from the coast and islands) - and the Queensland environment
department has an agreement with us regarding exchamge of relevant data.
So any Queensland records sent in to the Atlas project here will be
available to the Queensland government.

Anyone interested in submitting bird records to the Atlas project should
write or give us a call here (contact details below) or email:

Incidentally, for all atlassers out there who have been filling in forms
but not sent them in to us yet - if you want your data included in the
forthcoming book to be published later this year, send in the forms
IMMEDIATELY (by the end of this week at the latest). Later data will, of
course, be added to the database (which is the most valuable outcome of the
project), and used in future analysis and publications, but the cut-off
time for inclusion in the book is imminent.

Cheers,
Hugo
