Hi everyone, thanks to everyone who gave me some clues on where to find the lists. I was very lucky to get excellent nearly up to date and complete lists for mammals, reptiles and amphibians from Iain Outlaw (who had joined the birding-aus list one day prior to my query). Of course some of the taxonomy is different from what I am used to but they are a spectacular starting point.
