G'day all

Great views of a Spotted Harrier yesterday. It was in the Hamilton Parklands
reserve. This is a large area of remnant native grassland on the northern
outskirts of the city. The harrier was seen soaring low over the grass on
several occasions and perched in a dead tree once.

I have a record of on near Lake Linlithgow in May 1992 and another near Lake
Bolac in April 2002. David Cameron reported two near Dunkeld recently.

Cheers

Steve
