Just back from a walk through the grounds of Wollongong University and
spotted about 20 swift parrots enjoying the afternoon sun. Plenty of
rainbow and Musk Lorikeets as well.
The university ground staff have been planting a suite of eucalypt species
around the uni for the last 20 years and its paying off. Pretty good
considering the area used to be a farm paddock.
