Hi
On Saturday morning near Port Macdonnell se SA we observed seven HB Cuckoos feeding on caterpillars taken from the ground amongst recently burnt Marram Grass, I also remember a couple of years ago observing three birds foraging on the ground but on that occasion what struck me as odd was that one of them was a juvenile.
