Hi to all!

During our trip to Australia and New Zealand later in this year we'll be
spending six full days in Tasmania (in early November).

I've got the Thomas & Thomas bird finding guide & Nigel Wheatley's 'Where to
watch Birds in Australasia and Oceania' but I'd very much appreciate,
please, any ideas on the best places to find the Tasmanian endemics and
birds such as:

Black-faced Cormorant
Masked Owl
Hooded Plover
Crescent Honeyeater
Pink Robin
Satin Flycatcher
Beautiful Firetail

Though birds are high on the priority list, we want to allow a bit of time
for general sightseeing (e.g. Port Arthur). Can we avoid a trip to Maria or
Bruny Islands?

Please reply to me privately.

Many thanks,

Regards,

Rob
