As Alan Leishman pointed out Sydney birdos don't need to travel far to see a Swift Parrot. Lynda and I were having a night in the city on Monday 24th and staying at Darling Harbour. Lynda spotted a lone swift parrot heading in a SW direction from our 5th floor room at the Ibis Hotel. Glad Alan posted his sighting from the next day as they tie in nicely together the two locations being relatively close together. cheers Timothy Hyde Blue Mountains / Capertee Valley Birding-Aus is on the Web at www.shc.melb.catholic.edu.au/home/birding/index.html To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe birding-aus" (no quotes, no Subject line) to |
