Hi Edwin, Not as good as your immpressive account
but I also saw 1 Freckled Duck at McGraths Hill on Saturday and
2 Glossy Ibis. There were also good numbers
of Australian Shoveler and
Grey Teal in the same location... was short of time so didn't
get anywhere else in the Hawksbury...but went down to ShellHarbour
in the afternoon and I'm pretty sure I saw 1 adult
winter White-Winged Black Tern at some distance off Bass Point
- has anyone else out there seen this species in that area
recently.
Cheers
Simon.
