Gooday all, Over the last four weeks I have witnessed an influx of Brown Falcons into the Bowen and Merinda area. 20 00 00S between Townsville and Mackay. The influx coincided with field preparation for planting in the horticultural areas, a small locust plague plus the possibility that the drier conditions out western Queensland could be the cause of a number of birds extending to coastal areas. Also Red-backed Kingfishers are common in the Delta and Pring area currently.
