Hi All.

With the Southerly winds of late, thought I'd do a bit of seawatching this weekend, with interesting results.

From Soldier's Point, near Norah Head on the Central Coast saw the following:

Sat 25/5

Several unidentified Albatross (weather was not cooperative)
1 Prion (prob. Fairy from the large amount of black on tail)

Sun 26/5

5 Black-browed Albatross
2 Giant Petrels (species unknown)
5 Aust. Gannets
7 unidentified Albatross

Bodes well for the winter, I hope.

Regards,

Robert Quinan
