While I don't have exotics like Swift Parrots, my bird bath, by the kitchen
window, is used regularly by White-plumed honeyeaters, W W tails, sparows of
course, and for the last 2-3 weeks, Flame Robins. I think the bathing has
increased since I put a rock in the centre. It is terracotta, and I do let
it get a bit brown and dirty. Any other tips for increasing use (it is in a
sheltered corner against the house). The species tend not to mix - the
Wagtail sometimes sits on the rock and glowers at the sparrows, which ignore
it. The Noisy Miners haven't found it yet luckily.
