At Primbee, about 15 km S ofollongong, NSW, the flowering is sporadic with some trees bursting while others are still in bud. This year there are lots of New Holland Hes and, for the first time, Rainbow Lorikeets with the usual few Scarlet Hes and Silvereyes. There has been only a few Yellow-faced and no White-naped Hes yet. A few years ago when they flowered well Yellow-faced were common with small flocks of White-naped present. No Swift Parrots so far but we are looking.
