Following my prediction that Regent Honeyeaters would show up on the NSW
Central Coast Chris Tzaros suggested that we should be looking in the
Melbourne hinterland for Regent Honeyeaters this autumn.

Well, what should be waiting for me upon my return to the office this
morning but a phone message advising that a BOCA member had observed a
Regent Honeyeater in a garden near the crematorium in Glenroy (northern
Melbourne suburb).

Regent Honeyeater hunters should take heart and think about having a good
look in the outer north and north-eastern areas. Eltham, Diamond Creek,
out to Glenburn and as far as Alexandra would all be worth searching.

Happy hunting. You know what they say, you'll never ever know if you
never ever go!
