I've had a B sort of a day.

When I was having breakfast on the verandah this morning, a pair of Pacific Bazas flew straight over the house. This caused a lot of commotion among the Rainbow Lorikeets and the White-breasted Woodswallows mobbed them.

This afternoon I went to the Townsville Town Common and found three Bustards and twenty Brolgas. Not to mention the Brahminy Kites, Bee-eaters and three Brown Quail.

Cheers,
Ian

PS I've heard the Rufous Owl calling two nights last week at about 3:00am. I didn't get up to investigate.
