Folks,
Just a reminder about this weekend's seminar on 200
years of change in Western Port, being held at the former Cranbourne Shire
Offices on Saturday and Sunday. The other events to commemorate the visit
of "le Naturaliste" to Western Port in 1802, at Corinella last Sunday and on
French Island to-day (with over 200 Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos over the
Macleod Eco Farm and Historic Prison on the south-eastern coast of the island),
have been great fun and the seminar should provide a great wrap-up for the
week. Cost for the seminar is $25 per day (includes morning &
afternoon teas and lunch) and you can listen to speakers including visiting
French scientist Francoise Debard, seal expert Bob Warneke and Richard Loyn
talking about birds, as well as hear and see plenty about the wonderful artwork
produced by members of the 1802 expedition, among many others. Give me a
call tomorrow at work on 9881 8897 if you'd like more information.
Regards,
Jack
