2 visits to Lake Victoria over Easter were most rewarding. The highlights were: Banded Stilts in huge numbers. A few Curlew Sandpipers, one in full breeding plummage. A Sharp-tailed Sandpiper in near full breeding plummage. Double-banded Plovers were numerous and both Terns, Little and Fairy were resting on the small island down at the far end of the Lake. Though a fair walk there, it is well worth the effort.
