g'Day all Shown on WIN TV State news in Hobart on Wednesday evening was an item about foxes in Tasmania. The article stated that through Crime Stoppers, a reward of $50,000.00 has been posted for information leading to the prosecution of any person responsible for bringing foxes into Tasmania. This information might clear up a rumour previously posted on this list, that the reward was available for catching foxes, which if true, could provide an incentive for unscrupulous individuals to introduce them to Tasmania. As interpreted from the news broadcast, this reward is not being offered as a bounty for finding a fox.
